An evening of R&B at Nema's Boom Boom Room in New York City - April 24, 2017

Once the sunset has set the New York City nightlife wakes up. Even on a Monday evening there is something to do; those are the perks of living in the city that never sleeps. Last Monday, April 24, Nema's Boom Boom Room, the biweekly music event featuring new artists, hosted an evening of R&B.  After a rendezvous with sultry cocktails and few laughs later, New Jersey recording artist, Sade' Emoni opened the show with an acoustic cover of Beyonce's, "Drunk in Love" and songs from her 222 EP. The finalists from The Voice-Belguim, boy band, State Of Mind, in the city recording their next album, provided a special performance of Shawn Mendes, "Treat You Better" and a sneak peak into their new music. The headliner of the evening, Kayla Brianna, charmed the audience with her cover of Outkast's, "Hey Ya!," along with a few of her fan favorites like, "Honest" and "Work For It."
